Full In-Flight Weather Capability

The Pathfinder receives weather information over a 978 MHz datalink, receiving from a network of towers throughout the U.S.  This network is maintained by the FAA and is referred to as the Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) uplink.

Weather products received include:

• METARs

• TAFs

• PIREPs

• TFRs

• NOTAMs

• Winds and Temperatures

Real Time Traffic Information

  By receiving TIS-B Traffic Information Service Broadcast data, the Pathfinder provides useful traffic information.  If you are an active ADS-B out transmitter or within an area of an aircraft that is, the Pathfinder will automatically display the associated traffic information in your area.
