Permanently mounting the Pathfinder is an option available to experimental aircraft owners.  The Pathfinder Remote offers subscription free weather and traffic with both WiFi and serial outputs to communicate simultaneously with your iPad and EFIS. Currently AFS, GRT, iFly and MGL EFIS units are compatible.
